Lobby

All assembly bosses have a lobby space where players are visually shown to appear. It is accessed before and after the battle, as well as in the middle should a player quit (there is 1 min cooldown).

Players with badges for the associated boss will be denoted in a bottom counter. While up top is typically a way to view the boss's bio.

Players will also have shortcuts to the onmyouji interface and shikigami interface.

Small monsters will also appear at this time, and they can be tapped on to redeem additional rewards.

Rewards

There are 3 types of rewards: gold, secret treasure, and victory rewards. Gold and victory rewards are given through mail, while secret treasure is instantaneous at the end of battle.

Gold is given dealing damage to the boss, the higher the damage to more the gold, with a cap of 60k gold. The secret treasure gives random rewards. The victory rewards are given if at least 30k damage is contributed, and distributed according to the rating. If not enough damage is contributed, 500 gold is given for reward.

Every 1 guild member gathering gives +1% damage and +1% gold for max of +12% and +18% respectively? Need confirmation.

Other rewards depend on the boss.

Arrival of Gashadokuro

Biography

Have you ever drank bone soup? On the battlefield I could drink and eat anything. Only then would one survive. When I forced them to drink, one of them actually started crying.
He said, "General, he, he died for our sake, how could we...... we......"
"......Stop it with the nonsense, if you want to live then finish drinking." I discovered that I've become incapable of crying since long ago. To me, the battlefield will be my grave.
......But you brats have to return alive.

......How could such a beautiful woman appear on the battlefield......
The moment she appeared, I knew, she was definitely not human. I stared unblinkingly at her, but she was not bashful at all, instead lightly laughing. I lost all power to speak, and could only gaze on, her red eyes blazed like flames.
She probably thought that I looked very foolish, and raised her chin to smilingly say, "Lechs won't live long you know?"
I finally recovered, and suddenly thought of an idea. I slowly said, "......Can you help my soldiers escape from here alive? My life is yours!"

When I set foot into the higanbana flower sea by the Sanzu River, it's as if I sank into a mire of flowers - the flowers wrapped around me one by one, and vines from deep within the bushes reached out to bind me.
I realised that those flowers were alive, they want to drag me into the abyss! That woman laughed, and asked me if it was terrifying.
"Not at all." That was the last sentence I said to her before losing consciousness.
At least, my soldiers are still alive.

Scattered Fragments

The battlefield is scattered with the fragments of handwriting from many soldiers.
These worn-out slips of paper have been trampled by horses, buried in mud, dampened with rain...... the majority of the words written on them are no longer discernible, leaving only some bits and pieces.

How many days has it been marching at night in the rain......
A lot of people are so tired that they can't go on anymore, the march became slower with each day. And there's endless coughing coming from the group of people...... if this continues, everyone will collapse! I thought this, and took courage to enter the general's tent, trying to persuade him to stop and have a few days' rest. But the general ejected me from the tent! He doesn't care about our survival at all! If he could be so cruel, then I won't work myself to death for him either! I want to go home, that's right, I'll desert in the chaos......!

There was actually meat in the soup today. I was just marvelling, as I saw the general hoisting a couple of soldiers by the ear and walking out of the barracks. The general roared, "What kind of time is this, to dare run out to hunt rabbits! Do you not want to live just for a few mouthfuls of meat, brat!" Everyone burst into long-awaited laughter. The soldiers also smiled apologetically and said, "General, look, everyone now has rabbit soup...... we'll all so tired, let everyone rest for a day......" So this is rabbit...... So savoury, but these bones are pretty big......

Noone thought that the enemies would prepare an ambush here.
When I woke from my dreams, and saw the hail of arrows, I still thought I was dreaming...... looking at the shocked people around me, I suppose everyone would be the same...... luckily, the general is here, with one command, everyone recovered their wits, rapidly packing materials to run. The general decisively burned down the remaining barracks, the sea of fire barred the way of the enemies, and we were able to survive...... the angered voice of the general came from behind, "I already told you, stopping to rest is guaranteed death, you lot of trash...... now you know to run! Run run run, get running all of you!"

Jishin Namazu.png

A large-scale assembly boss found in Demon Encounter.

Introduction

Once Jishin Namazu is discovered, there will be 3-6 minutes of gathering for everyone to prepare for battle, as after it begins, no one new can join. There is a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 300 people per boss. If after the time limit there is under 50 people, the timer will restart with a minimum of 25 people needed. If this is cannot be satisfied, the boss disappears. The difficulty of the battle is matched with the number of people participating, and low-level players will not increase the difficulty. There are 3 main stages to the boss battle itself. There is an ally Yokinshi that can be controlled, its skills are slightly different from normal. Throughout, Jishin Namazu can mitigate damage, but the effect is lowered when players die.

After the blessing wears off, they will be inflicted with a defense down debuff. If the shikigami is inflicted with the blessing again while debuffed, they will be KO'd.

This stage repeats after stages 3 and 4.

Stage 3

Jishin Namazu gains damage immunity and summons a monkey, all damage dealt to the monkey is capped at 4000. KO'ing grants a damage buff. This effect grows stronger the faster all players KO it and deal more damage.

Stage 4

After losing 80% of its health, Jishin Namazu swims far to prepare for a counterattack and the Torii appears. If 80%+ of the players participating destroy the Torii, Jishin Namazu's counterattack will fail and deal little damage; otherwise, massive damage is dealt along with inflicting debuffs.

If the Torii is destroyed, multiple rounds of paper dolls appear until the natural time for Jishin Namazu returns.

Biography

Glub, glub...... Endless darkness surrounded me, how long was it like this,
maybe a hundred years? Or perhaps a thousand. Staying in this nondescript place for so long,
the initial reason for being here couldn't even be recalled, time made me forget everything,
right, who am I, ah, just thinking about this made me annoyed, want to get out of this darkness,
dark...... chaos...... eh? It seemed like a ray of light shone through the darkness onto my body,
although I couldn't see it, I could feel it, because I felt a long-awaited sense of comfort.
"Don't worry, it'll be alright, peace~ peace~", listening to that gentle voice, I gradually relaxed.

It's been, hmm...... a long time since I left that mire.
At first the house here would break unpredictably,
then a kekkai was installed around the pond and it got better, but I still want to go out,
staying here always makes me worry that I'll be alone again. "Don't worry, as long as you stay in this kekkai,
I won't leave", she would always say, hmm, she probably won't trick me, glub glub...

Recently I haven't seen much of her, I wonder if she's alright. Eh, she's not looking too well today.
"Apologies, I'll have to go break my promise, I don't know if I can come back this time, sorry...... sorry,
I can only wrong you......", why say sorry, why cry, as I was still thinking this,
the familiar darkness returned, I already...... don't want to think about anything anymore......
What did I forget again...... glub, glub......

Glub, glub...... so annoying, want to escape from this darkness...... Ahhhhhh.......
Why am I still so sad after leaving the darkness, still so manic.
"Where did this loach come from, to dare run wild at my jinja, how daring",
no, you're not her, you impostor,
roar! Don't want to think about anything anymore, I'll destroy it all, all that is ugly.

So tired, so much pain...... am I going to die like this......
Sorry, it seems like I won't be waking up again, even moving is so difficult.
"Sorry, I am back", hearing this familiar voice,
I felt tears dropping on my left fin, that long-awaited feeling of comfort spread within my body once again,
like the ray of light on that day, peace, peace......

Biography

That day, a storm brewed at sea, and a seafaring ship broke apart after crashing into a reef, everyone aboard fell into the waters. The yokai of the sea hurried from every direction to enjoy the feast.
I was still small then, and could only tail the bigger fish, catching their leftover morsels.
When it was my turn, only a monk's skull was left.
If it wasn't for how tough his bones were, the big fish won't even leave this much.
That night, I had a dream.

In that dream, I became that monk, and was holding strange tools, taking stone and wood of all sizes, putting them together.
Gradually, those stones and wooden blocks became a small castle.
Was this the memory of the monk? He knows a lot.
There are no brains like that in the sea.
I was enraptured by the monk's dream, in that dream, I was building my own castle.
But once I awoke, I returned to being a tiny yokai, tormented by hunger.
I needed more food.

Many years passed, and I became the biggest yokai in the sea.
The yokai followed me, and when I sank those large ships, they could hunt behind me.
All those years, the people I ate have been turned into akki, offered up to the monk to use.
The monk already walked out of my dreams, and built castles one after the other on my back, the castles formed a castle town, and the monk began building a hundred-meter shinkiro at its highest point.
I want to build the highest castle on this sea.

I'd never seen someone like this, rowing a small boat to the center of the sea alone.
The people of the sea circled the boat, but not one could approach him.
I emerged on the surface, and the huge waves that I raised surged towards the boat, the boat wobbled, as if it would capsize at any moment, but that person calmly rested his oar, and walked to the front of the boat.
"Who are you?" I asked that person.
"I am an onmyoji from Miyako."
I lowered my head, showing him the shinkiro on my back:
"Do you see my city, onmyoji? The city of Miyako, is it as large as mine?"
He shook his head:
"I see no city, only a mirage on your back.
The akki crying out, trapped in that mirage."
"You, are lying!"
I roared, using my claws to dash his boat into pieces, but the onmyoji flew using his paper cranes.
The paper cranes circled above me, and disappeared into the night.
I was enraged to madness.

I patrolled the sea ceaselessly, waiting for that onmyoji to reappear.
I'll devour his skull, turn him in an akki, and put him inside my shinkiro.
I'll have him witness my everything.

A large-scale assembly boss found in Demon Encounter.

Introduction

Once Kiyrou Utahime, also known as Ghostly Songstress, is discovered, there will be 3-6 minutes of gathering for everyone to prepare for battle, as after it begins, no one new can join. There is a minimum of 25 and maximum of 300 people per boss. The difficulty of the battle is matched with the number of people participating, and low-level players will not increase the difficulty. The boss stays for 20 minutes and escapes after that if players fail to defeat it.

Format

Stage 1

In the first phase, Kiryou Utahime will randomly seduce one of the shikigamis player bring to the battle. Seduced shikigami will use normal attack on Kiryou Utahime, dealing 1 damage and giving 2 extra onibi for the player's team. The minions existed in Stage 1 are Maids in White. KO-ing the Maids in White will grant player 150% attack bonus, stacked at max of 10 layers until stage 1 ends. Umbrella Man exists to solely give Shield for the maids, which will absorb damage until the Shield is broken.

After Kiryou Utahime's HP drops below 70%, Stage 2 begins.

Stage 2

Just like in the first phase, Kiryou Utahime will randomly seduce one of the shikigamis. The Maids in White became Maids in Black, and Umbrella Man moves so be extra careful. Whenever the difference of Maids in Black's HP exceeds 5%, Kiryou Utahime will launch AoE attack which can Daze your shikigamis and lower their DEF.

When all Maids in Black are KO-ed and Kiryou Utahime's HP drops to 0, Stage 3 begins.

Stage 3

In the third and final phase, no Maids will spawn and Kiryou Utahime will become your ally, using Flower Gift which grants your team 8 orbs. Paper Dolls will spawn and Umbrella Man becomes the main enemy. Assembly Boss ends when the Umbrella Man is KO'd.

Biography

Songtresses stand at the pinnacle of Kyohara. Once you become the top songstress, thousands of men will bring you treasures and jewellery, and you will have the most beautiful dresses imaginable. You will be the lady all men look up to. All maids in Kyohara dream of becoming the top songstress and blossoming like a flower.

"Sister, are you leaving?"

"Yes, someone redeemed me. I'm going to live at their house. This hairpin was given to me by my sister. Now I'm leaving it to you."

"You're cleverer than anyone else. I'm sure you will."

I wonder what it looks like, standing atop the pinnacle. When I was still a maid, I made up my mind that I would work harder than anyone in the ceremonies, dancing, poems, and music. They said I was gifted, that I was born to conquer Kyohara.

On my first procession event, I put the jade hairpin my sister left in my hair. All eyes were fixed on me. Standing in the room of songstresses, overlooking the whole of Kyohara, I had fame, status, and jewels. I was proud and content.

Everyone looked up to watch me dance and sing beautiful songs, one after another. It was a lifestyle of luxury, where the songs and music would be heard on day and night. For a moment. I felt like I was free. But it was merely freedom within a cage.

I had a dream that night, A girl was snuggled up, cradled in warm arms. Sweet whispers came to her ears. Sweeter than the songs. But when she woke up, she saw people looking at her with indifference, and cursing her with the most vile words. The life of a songstress wasn't as beautiful as I had imagined. However idolized I was, I was still only a tool of those people. Time flashed by. Gray hairs started to appear, but still no one came to redeem me. I heard a long time ago that an aged songstress would be abandoned and left to a life of hard labor. I was no exception.

"The opportunity of being a top songstress belongs to those with a little more youth in them... We're not ungrateful bastards though. We made effort to arrange a job for you."

It was quite busy outside. There must be a procession taking place today. i wonder who still remembers that I was once there, standing in the middle of all, leading the procession.

My eyes are blurred, and I felt terrible pains in my bones. The diseases that have befallen me were slowly killing me. The jade hairpin that my sister gave me was stolen by one of the handmaidens recently.

I guess I will spend what's left of my life in boredom. I heard that many maids were buried in the Temple of Cleansing.

"What about the songstresses?"

"Songtresses who are no longer popular are just the same as the maids. They are resting peacefully in the Temple of Cleansing. No one wants to pry for details."

I'm satisfied as long as there is someone who can bury me. My soul has already rotted, even before my flesh has. I no longer care where I will be buried. If I have no audience anymore, I will go to the Temple of Cleansing alone and end my life. In the face of death, my heart, so full of unrest for the past few decades, finally felt a moment of happiness and peace.

As my last breath was about to leave my body, I saw grudgeful souls dancing gracefully in the air.

"I can live with this. At least I won't be alone anymore."

However, the pain they felt resonated with me, making my feeling of hatred grow even deeper.
